![]() ![]() It started happening in areas it had never happened before in SPV3.1, and disabling "motion blur" from any settings has zero effect on the outcome. But that had an easy fix - disable the motion blur and I was good to go.Īnd to make things worse- with SPV3.2, it happens more frequently. Now, it occurs on even the simplest levels (such as Captain Keyes' bridge before he gives me his pistol). When I first started playing SPV3.1, It didn't start until i was on second mission (Halo) - It usually happens when in a graphical intensive scene where framerate drops below 30fps (such as large open areas with too many enemies/objects etc with long render distances)īut once it started, the problem increased. It only goes away momentarily when I zoom in a powerful weapon like Marksman rifle, but then the "zoom radial blur" happens and it stays even when I zoom out and start moving. The blur and its direction stays there, and moving the character left/right just adds more directional blur on the already blurred vision. And it stays for like 5-10 seconds, or longer in some cases - just messes up everything in the gameplay. If I have Map Effects enabled (which are kinda needed for VISR and HeatVision), the motion blur I get from moving the character in any direction or even panning the mouse a little is too much. It still occurs when I have motion blur disabled. Important: Enabling/Disabling or changing the "Motion Blur" amount settings (either from Launcher itself or from within Sauce settings during menu/gameplay doesn't seem to have any effect on this issue. (SPV3.1 had the same issue and now SPV3.2 has it too) Now the issues - Motion Blur and Map Effects. Congratulations and Salute to all the hard work that went into making this masterpiece. You're now ready to play SPV3! If you want to change some Settings, you can do that now as well.įirst things first- AMAZING! You guys kept in line with even the teeny tiny bits of canon during the events of Reach and Alpha Halo. You'll need to overwrite the old HXE.exe and SPV3.exe files yourself because antivirus applications prevented automatic updates. If SPV3.exe alerts you that there is an update available (for the launcher, SPV3.exe), go ahead and click "(download here)".Run SPV3.exe either directly or via the shortcut.Move the shortcut to wherever you feel is convenient. You can use the shortcut created in the previous step. Browse to the folder SPV3 has been installed to.You can also simply move the folder without causing any issues. (Custom Location) If you want to change where SPV3 will be installed, now is the time. Now click "Install" to install to the default location (listed in Step 1).If this SPV3 folder is not present, go to the folder to which you had extracted SPV3.2.0.exe.If this SPV3 folder has files in it, including SPV3.exe and HXE.exe, skip to Step 7.If the location of the Documents folder has not been modified, this directory can also be found at C:\Users\%UserName%\Documents\My Games\SPV3\ for the sake of convenience. This is SPV3's default install directory.Check to see if SPV3.2 has already installed to %UserProfile%\Documents\My Games\SPV3\.They refer to the full or relative path to a folder. NOTE: Location and Directory are used interchangeably in these instructions.I extracted the files in the installer instead and I still can't get anywhere. Winrar is a meme just like Norton AntiVirus.
